question about Smoke
After shooting Jess Smoke was arrested but then we hear nothing of him again until we see a service for him as he seems to have been killed but that is not spoken of in the film.
It was so surprising as surprising as hearing of a death by phone in the middle of the night one expects such things to telegraphed in film rather than having it dropped on you and then leaving you to deal with it. Which of course is more sophisticated than what we so often get.
Does anyone know if there was a story about Smokes death or film shot but not used?
