David Harbour did a good job, but the script was lacking. "Fatman" with Mel Gibson had a much better story.

I disagree - this film, despite being uncertain in its audience focus, had a few decent jokes, which made the film at least partially worth watching. Fatman was.... crappy through and through with no redeeming qualities. It's unfortunate, because I think Mel is a good actor/director - big letdown.

I don't think the film was "uncertain in its audience focus." I think they were trying to make an action movie that was ALSO a real Christmas movie (unlike, say, Die Hard). They did a pretty good job with the balance, I thought.

Mel was awesome, but Fatman didn’t have enough action and violence. I liked the darker tone of it, but I wanted to see Mel just fucking destroy some motherfuckers

I like David Harbour, but this role should have gone to either Mel Gibson or Kurt Russell, both of whom played Santa Claus in lesser movies.

I love both Mel and Kurt, but Harbour did excellent work here.

Nah, this was better than Fatman. Fatman was boring though Gibson was good.
