Only watched it for Affleck recently as i have a little thing for him now (he's not great actor but does good job normally i feel)anyway..What a brilliant film,Bale,Dafoe,Harrelson just superb to watch,and again Zaldana picks another great movie to be in.Affleck better than i thought he'd be but truely i didnt buy him as bare knuckle fighter..just so skinny but i gave him the benefit by overcoming height,weight etc with the characters pure anger.
Harrelson a that drivethru scene was truely horrible..the voice and all,great performance.

I saw this opening weekend when it came out and I absolutely love it and I'm actually watching it right now. I can't believe it gets such a low rating on the site. Morons.

Yeah, people want unrealistically gritty films or superhero nonsense anymore. Anything thought provoking is panned nowadays.

Likewise, after being totally unaware of this movie for six years, I heard of it recently and picked up the blu ray, entirely due to the cast, including Casey Affleck, who I think is great. Watched it, thought it was damn good. Not mind blowing, not particularly original or innovative, but just a plain ol' good movie. Can't say I'm surprised there are people here shitting on it. It's to be expected.

did Russell learn all that Drug Slang in the Joint or was he once a User also confused on why Petty would do Rodney a favor after he didn't take the fall in the fight he won. DeGroat was a terror & maybe that's why Russell wasn't punished, seeing him at the table in the end.
