where was the PA shooting filmed?

Was this filmed at the defunct Bethlehem,PA steel mill in Bethlehem,PA?

reply

Not trying to be a jerk, but why would they travel 4 hours to shoot in Bethlehem when the movie was shot right outside of Pittsburgh? You not from Pennsylvania or just not geographically challenged?

When they were filming in a working steel mill, it was at the TMK Mill. We refer to it as Koppell.

The broken down mill at the end is what's left over of Rankin's Carrie Furnace. ETW is in the background the whole time, but they didn't shoot there.

I'm from Philly and I knew this.

So, Pittsburgh is Western PA. 4 hours east is Philly. 80 minutes NORTH of me is Bethlehem.

Geography.

Hope that helped. Also, google is your friend for the Rankin's Carrie Furnace answer. It was in the Trib about 3 years ago. It's on this page at least 20 times.

Filmed in Braddock

Christian Bale wore a tattoo of Braddock's ZIP code, 15104, on his neck as a homage to the town's mayor John Fetterman, who has the same design on his arm.

- Interesting now that Fetterman is running for Senate in a high profile campaign against Dr. Oz.
