Why, in 2008-2009, did Zala all of a sudden need his daughter's 1993 off
Why, in 2008-2009, did Zala all of a sudden need his daughter's 1993 official records? Just because of Mia and Dags expose of the sex slavery trade? Her records did not connect him to that trade, not by anything shown in the movie.
This was a really bad mistake in the movie i found!! The whole motive for the murder of Bjurman is lost this way!!!! It had nothing to do with the records.
In the book Zala never asked for the records. In fact it was Bjurman who contacted Zala, not the other way around. Why? Because: Bjurman found out, by digging through paperwork that lisbeth had set fire to Zala (Bjurman wanted to know more about lisbeth in the hopes of finding something that could make him get revenge on her). And he happened to know who zala was, from his days in the secret service, so they had a common enemy. Bjurman contacted Zala and asked him to murder Lisbeth.
Later, Lisbeth visited Dag Svensson. She knew from Mikael's computer that Dag was looking for Zala. When she visited Dag, she dropped the name "bjurman" because she suspected there was a connection between Bjurman and Zala/Niederman (because she had followed Bjurman when he had a meeting with niederman). Svensson did not know who bjurman was, but he zoomed in on the name because lisbeth had mentioned him in connection to Zala. So Dag called Bjurman on the telephone a few hours later, to ask him about Zala. Niederman happened to be there while Bjurman recieved the call, and Bjurman started to panic. That 's why Niederman shot Bjurman.
Zala or Niederman never looked for the records!
The only reason the records are in Bjurmans summerhouse is because Bjurman found out (by doing research on Lisbeth) that she is very smart and he wanted to keep these records out of her sight and out of his computer so she wouldn't find out he had them. Through these records he found out she was the daughter of Zala.
From watching the movie i never understood the reason why bjurman was killed, it is only by reading the book that i understood why. It was in fact Lisbeth who was indirectly responsible for the murder of Bjurman and sven because she visited Sven.
