Dubbed/Subtitles

I watched 'Dragon Tattoo' last night with sub-titles, and I am currently watching 'Played With Fire', and it's dubbed. I prefer the voices of the characters from the original. Is there a version that has sub-titles, and generally speaking, are sub-titles or dubs usually closer to the intended dialogue?

I just watched "Played with Fire" on the Sundance Channel and it was subtitled, so it's out there but I have no idea on how to find it.

My DVD has the option of dubbed or subtitled - I chose the latter. I hate dubbed dialogue and usually completely forget I'm reading whilst watching.
