erika berger and other random comments

It seems that the movie is a loose adaptation of the novel - for the 2nd and 3rd installments of the Millennium trilogy. That's fine. But a lot of the changes adapted for the movies don't seem to have made sense overall. One change is Erika Berger. First she looks old in the movie. And shaky and hesitant, unlike a boss figure who is confident and at charge, like the novel. This really bothered me. I kept wondering why would Mikael be with her.. Their relationship was not exactly explained much either.

The other thing that bothered me was Mikael's huge belly.. Maybe it's time for a little exercise?

The second and third movies feel like not up to par with a theater screening.. Seem like they were made for TV. Such a pity. Hope that the American version will be better.

In any case, no question that the novels will be the best, as nothing tops human imagination..
