Question about the minseries version of these films.
From what I read on them I can't tell whether they're just the theatrical versions with added scenes, or remakes with the same actors.
shareYes they are just the theatrical versions with added scenes - they are not remakes with the same actors. Here´s the thing. All 3 movies were made for tv as a 6 episode ( 1 movie 2 episodes) mini series called Millenium. The first film was meant to be shown in theaters given higher budget, better crew and a bigger director. The other two were only meant to be shown on tv but due to the popularity of the first film they decided to release the others in theaters but had to cut quite a lot from them.
shareWhat a stupid decision. Just saw 2nd movie, disappointed with the way it was filmed and director is obviously not as good as the first. But the story itself is quite brilliant.
