Saw it, It's ok, not better or not worse than Bohemian Raps. So why the hate?
Did that work because it was in this new type of genre of music bio?
Wrong. This one was just terrible. It was like a Wikipedia page with music in it. And the acting was all terrible except for Stanley Tucci and a half nod for the father of Whitney Houston.

I thought it was just a playlist, I mean come on if I wanted to listen to the songs all the way through I could anytime, without watching this.
Oh and Bohemian raps was way better.
Even though Bohemian Raps changed a lot of the timeline and even made things up (like when Freddie Mercury was diagnosed with aids), it was still much more enjoyable that this.
Here I felt everything was rushed. I really didn't care for the characters.
In my opinion. With all her ups and downs, when comparing to other recent Music Movie Bios (like Queen, Elton John, Elvis), the movie portrayed her life as not as interesting as the others.
