Who killed Emma's boyfriend???
First I thaught Jedburgh or maybe the security guys from the company.
Anyway I don't see a reason..only cause he talked with Craven??

Also think it was suicide. Single wound to the temple. He shot himself with his own gun (the one Craven gave back to him that his daughter had).
shareI was under the impression that he shot himself too, but just before that scene, wasn't there a scene with Jedburgh which looked like he was surveiling the boyfriend's home? I wasn't sure if maybe he'd killed him.

Jedburgh had been there before and didn't kill him. Mel Gibson saw one of his cigars in an ashtray and knew he had been there. Mel also looked out the window and saw a black suv like the one Northmoor Security drove.
I think he killed himself rather than wait to be killed.

Thats why Craven was so wary of Jedburgh.
At the end the senator or one his cronies asks Jedburgh why didn't he kill craven, the last loose end. He killed emma's boyfriend who was a loose end. Craven and Jedburgh discuss emma's boyfriend's death and craven says thanks for not killing me as he walks away and jeddburgh tips his glass to him
