There was absolutely no reason for the 2014 version whatsoever. I've never been so sure of anything in all my life.

The only reason for this film is to weigh down the bargin bins so they don't get tipped over easily.

I agree. The original Robocop is a masterpiece in my opinion. This remake was horrible and completely unnecesary.

Yeah, this remake really seemed to miss the point that original was also a full rounded satire among other things, not just an average action movie with some satirical elements thrown in the mix.

This really missed the mark in every conceivable way. The talented Brazilian crew was utterly wasted on this mess.
