will it be fast tracked due to Old Guard?

Maybe they'll crack on with the reboot now Old Guard has been downloaded like 100million times

Currently attacked is the John Wick director (previously was Justin Lin)and big names attached over past few years of development include Ryan Reynolds & Charlie Hunnam (Conner), Cruise (probably Ramirez), Dave Bautista (Kurgan)... but id like to see Fassbender, Neeson, Momoa ..with maybe Paula Patton & Rebecca Ferguson as the love interests (either one as present day or past) and obviously a Christopher Lambert cameo. And Queen must return to do an all new score

Of course no doubt the reboot will pick and choose from all the various films and the TV series so won't be just a dogmatic remake of the 1st film - unless they go the Halloween 2018/Dark Fate route and make it a direct sequel to the 1986 film (as 80s are cool) with Lambert returning in some Luke style way as Conner (having lost his immortality of course) to be in the Ramirez mentor type role.. but they already did that with HL3 and HL4..(but then so did Halloween – made a sequel to HW1 about 2 or 3 different times)
