It kind of reminds me of 'The Last House on the Left'

It was with Sara Paxton made in 2009, which was also a remake of the 1970s version which involved a young girl getting raped and her parents take revenge on her rapists.

Me too. And as I watched it tonight for the first time I kept thinking to myself that this was just like last house on the left. Until the shotgun scene, then I knew I must've seen this before. But I always thought it was last house on the left. I would've sworn by it. And I knew Tony Goldwyn was in the other movie. Now I'm so confused. I have to watch last house on the left again. And probably the originals which I've never seen

Well,i found it different from the last house on the left regarding one aspect; in that movie her parents take revenge. However in this movie she is the one to take revenge.You can see her pain as she kills each individual guy.she had been there through the pain. Thus she knows about her suffering. You can see how affected she is just the way she interacts with the guys.

The 70's had plenty of revenge movies. Some were bound to be similar.

Spit on Grave, Last House on Left, hell even A Clockwork Orange..at it's core..is a revenge movie.
