I don't get the poster....

Rape is a terrible, horrible crime for anyone who experiences it.
And yet they are trying to make her look sexy and for anyone to lust after her as rape bait?
The poster is wrong on so many levels.

reply

But it got you and millions more people to watch it.

reply

I have not seen this one.
I did watch the orig. though.

reply

You should check it and at least the first sequel out. They're pretty good. The third sequel is okay but loses some air.

And I thought that with spring the snowflakes would disappear...

It's disturbing yes. But it's an horror movie. It's supposed to be horrible and uncomfortable.

reply

Rape is not sexy as the poster implies.

reply

That's not what I get from the poster at all. I've always seen it as: Rape victim going for bloody payback.

I think it's a little bit weird to see this as "rape is sexy". The girl on the poster is kinda sexy. I mean, with the cuts and bruises, it's not very sexy to me. And rape definitely is not sexy.

reply

I have only seen the first one and I was happy she got her revenge or there was just no way I could blame her.

reply

Same. I've seen this one too but for some reason I really don't remember it. But the original stuck with me. Quite impactful.

reply

It was not an educational film, the point is to get people to watch it and make a profit.
