I didn't understand the purpose of that dancing near the end where the guy sang "Everlasting Love"? Were they saying he had everlasting love for her?
shareYeah that was fun but what was going on? (spoilers from here on…..). What was that big party? Was it the Grandpa’s wake or a farewell party for the family? I know that Irish wakes can be festive, but not to the extent where there is a band and dancing. Right?
I think the song was about the parents love for each other. The film highlights these romantic couples - the grandparents, Buddy and his crush, and finally the parents who were having some marital strife but worked it all out in the end.
