However, I am so thrilled to see the potential here for Martin and Short to do great things. This show is bubbling with unrealized potential. I gave it a good review just so they can have another shot at this.
shareIt's not that great. I'm 4 episodes in, and I wonder why I let my wife talk me into watching this with her. The more it goes on, the more Martin Short just annoys the hell out of me, and Selena Gomez is as dry as any Vulcan I've seen on Star Trek. It's easy to forget it's a murder mystery because way too much time is spent on personal relationships that no one cares about.
The struggle is real.
The genius of Martin and Short's repartees is enough for me to stick with it, I was glad I did. I can't wait for Season 2, the show left on an unexpected cliffhanger.
