Jim Caviezel in talks for a role!

Casting is underway.

Considering how ultra religious he is supposed to be I wouldn't expect him to want to take part in a movie like this.

reply

I was thinking that too.

Plus considering this movie has a female lead and a black male co-star i doubt Caviezel would do it even if they offered it to him. He's very right-wing and pissed off a lot of people on the set of Person of Interest..

reply

So he's racist and doesn't wanna work with black people?

reply

As this film did touch on religion I could see Jim Caviezel as Troy, parent to the white girl. I guess he was too expensive.

reply

OP pulled this out of his ass and y'all fell for it. He only gets cast in faith based movies. That's his audience.

reply

Not true, Caviezel has done plenty of other genres, several of his recent films have been westerns and sports dramas. Stuff like Escape Plan is standard Hollywood actor fare, and as far removed from "faith based movie" as it gets.

reply

Its not unlikely Jim Caviezel considered. Casting a negro was way too woke IMHO.

reply

Where are you guys getting this "Caviezel is racist" stuff from? I've never seem him express any racist views, just like I've never seen him limit his acting career to only "faith based movies". His co-star in the movie Savannah (Chiwetel Ejiofor ) is black https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Savannah_(film), not to mention he happily took roles in the films Sweetwater and Deja Vu, BOTH of which starred a black actor as the lead character.

Seriously, read over the guy's filmography and educate yourselves.

Jim Caviezel might have saved this turkey!
