Are they shootings all 3 x films back to back ? Part 1 was finished like 2 years ago.

I don't think so. They have plans for a trilogy of course but I haven't heard anything about them being shot back-to-back.

There are doubts that DGG will return to direct the sequels, I know a critic was interviewed during a podcast and he said the production of this was a complete shitshow and that he doesn't think DGG will do the second and third films.

Thank you, much appreciated

Can't wait until the third movie when DGG, and his writing team, decide that they didn't like the reactions to the 2nd film, so they are now going to turn the last entry into a weird love story that brings in a new main character. Because that's what you do in the last film of trilogy. But don't worry, they'll be sure to tack on an extremely lackluster five minute ending to the story you had been following for the first two entries...

Ellen Burstyn shot her scenes on November 2021 with a few days for reshoots in fall of 2022. The original was released December 26, 1973 and this will be released in October 23 with a shooting schedule stretched over 2 years.
