I'm looking forward to the series. I wonder how it's gonna be like.

And of course I hope it's gonna be good.

What expectations do you have to the series?

reply

I'm not a huge fan of the original, but "Kung Fu Panda 2" is actaully one of the best sequels I've ever seen, I absolutely love it. They'll have to deal with high expectations, but if the next one is as good as this, then there's nothing to worry about.

I think the OP is referring to the series "Legends of Awesomeness" which will air in the US in November.

That's just weak songwriting. You wrote a bad song, Petey.

Oh, right. I thought he meant the series of films they're going to produce... They said something about 4 more Kung Fu Panda films I think.

As for the series, I don't really have high expectations - it will be at the quality of "Secrets of the Furious Five" or the Christmas special I guess. These were good, but not great.

That's right, Walter_Roehrich. But I'm not having hard feelings towards the other user. Everyone can make mistakes.

Are you looking forward to the series, btw?

reply

Sorry if I appeared to be rude. That was not my intention.

Since I live in Europe I don't know if I can watch the series at all. I believe the series will be rather action and slapstick oriented(in contrast to the movies which also had emotional sequences). If the DVD box is for sale or some epsodes can be seen on Youtube I might give it a try.

But maybe I'm wrong, that's why I'm very interested in reading first reviews of the series on this board.

Don't worry, I didn't thought you were rude at all! :)

I've seen two episodes, and I'm pretty satisfied. :) Of course the animation isn't the same quality as the films, the films take three to five years to make! It's still pretty good. So far I think the show has much of the same elements of the films, a nice balance between humor, action, and story. Looking forward to more.

Really?? Where did you see it?

reply

On TV. They were aired as 'sneak peak' episodes. Nick.com has the two episodes online if you want to see them. :)

Thanks for the head-up! :)
