Brian Henson gets a pass from Disney for making this - but James Gunn goes down for 'gags'?

Doesn't seem consistent.

Why?

This has puppets and members of a kids show doing all manner of sordid deeds.

What does that have to do with Gunn's tweets?

Did he tweet about muppets?

reply

Sick humor

Disney let Gunn go because the dark humour he had in some tweets from before he worked with them and yet still employ Brian Henson who has went one further and put dark humour into a revamped Muppets movie and Sarah Silverman who voices Glitch in the Wreck it Ralph franchise.

I'm not suggesting anyone else get fired, just that Disney maybe overlook its hypocrisy and get consistent with its moral aptitude.

Particularly since they're venturing out into adult intellectual properties now and they'll need to.

Brian Henson utilized humor in a film for the purpose of making money.

Sarah Silverman is a comic, once again utilizing humor to make money.

James Gunn was a director making making bad edgelord jokes on social media because he thought they were funny and it wouldn't hurt his job prospects.

Don't worry, Gunn will still be a millionaire and Guardians of the Galaxy 3 will still get made.
