Don't know when that happened, but I did notice something different about how he looked when he talked--couldn't put my finger on it until today when I watched an old episode. He's definitely fixed up his pearly whites. Gotta spend all that money on something besides scary souvenirs, haunted houses & hair gel!

You are correct in your recognition. I noticed right after a few new episodes when Season 13 began that something was different with Zak's teeth. He has always had a nice smile and teeth, but his bottom jaw had either a missing tooth right near the front, or it was an extremely large gap that was evident because when his mouth would be monitored at certain angles, or whenever the camera was up close on him and he said certain words you could really see it. So he's had work done because his bottom row has been completely modified (as well as the top).
As for his top row of teeth, he most definitely has had either porcelain veneers over his original teeth or caps/crowns, because they are very perfect and very, very white; whereas before he had natural teeth that looked good and now it looks like he is doing the Hollywood thing and opted to get all his teeth capped/veneered/whatever it is that's been done. By the way, you can Google old pictures of him and there is one where he has on some sort of Confederate hat and he has his mouth kind of posing in a Billy Idol way, like a sneer, and you can really see the bottom teeth very well and the missing tooth, the gap and a very crooked and twisted tooth right next to his front teeth. But they look nice for whatever he's had done. IMO I always thought he had nice, natural teeth (except for the bottom problem), which probably made him insecure (I am guessing).
I think he looked better in the earlier seasons of Ghost Adventures, big nose and missing tooth included. I think he's also gotten some botox and he really over tans his face, his hands are always white! I hope he doesn't get any more work done, but once you start it's hard to stop, especially for insecure people. Zak is naturally good looking, there's no need for it.
