So, making sure people with TB got plenty of sunshine (the best source of Vitamin D on the planet) probably contributed to quite a handful of survivors. Still overshadowed by the number of _deaths_, back in the low-tech early 1900's, of course! But, there were some survivors, thanks to solarium therapy, nonetheless.
