Bumping into spider webbs = A ghost touched me! LOL

I never take these type of shows seriously, but it's funny how after all these years the new scare tactic is to pretend that ghosts are touching the hunters or faking a physical reaction whether it's heat, muscle aches, being "stabbed", or losing their balance.

I used to love this show at one point it scared the hell out of me even though I knew it was probably faked.

But yeah after a while it becomes boring, how many times are raccoon eyes going to be mistaken for demons? How long do you have to be doing this kind of thing before you no longer shit your pants every time a floor board creaks?

And why run back to the command centre every time you think you hear a voice? By the time you go back whatever it was (if it was even there to begin with) is gone!

reply

The voice captures come across as phony to me and it doesn't help when they always play dramatic cue music everytime a voice supposedly reveals itself.

reply

Yeah and the voices always sound same-ish or out of place for the era. They are never saying anything interesting either. Lets assume beyond a shadow of a doubt that ghosts exist it would require a fair amount of energy I imagine to be able to speak. So why just repeat the same crap over and over?

reply

My fave is when they see eyes in the darkness and it turns out to be a raccoon or some other animal. As the other poster mentioned how long have they been doing this to still be so shit scared about everything?!

reply

Personally I'm not impressed.

A friend of mine put it best: "You'll know when they've really seen a ghost. That will be the episode where they come running out of the place they're at screaming like babies with dirty underwear.
