Complaints about the wolves

I haven't seen a single post yet with people NOT complaining about wolves at a ski resort.. but you do realize that it's still part of the wilderness, right..? They don't exactly have a sign up that says "no wolves allowed!" and outside of the Winter season, it's probably not regularly maintained. There are Mountain Lions up at Mt Charleston in Las Vegas.. where there is a ski resort, lodge, and hiking trails. There's bears living in forest trails in North Carolina. There's feral cats that live in Disneyland. Hell, I had a Mountain Lion roam through my neighborhood from a nearby wash when I was younger! Just because there's people around doesn't mean there isn't wildlife out there.

Well, they could try and see if they obey.

But I have love in my heart - Yes, as a thief has riches, a usurer money

I think that sign would mean there are either traps or human guards.

Pretend something pithy is here.

the wolves were the best part of the movie

reply

The problem for me is not the wolves hanging around the ski resort, but the fact that wolves wouldn't behave like that.

reply

Well, it's a movie, there are many things in movies in general which are unrealistic.

*Spoilers for movie*

I think the reason in the movie the wolves attack is because they smelled the blood of Dan, and that's what happened. They then went after Joe because he had blood on his hand. They smelled blood and came running. If that would happen in real life, I don't know.

Them going after Dan made complete sense because they sensed he was gravely wounded and would make easy prey. After that first one showed up to assess the situation it was over.

Joe dying didn't make much sense to me. Other than his hands, he was at pretty much 100%, and he had a long weapon to help keep the wolves at bay.
