Selma and The Butler
The problem in both films was not Oyelowo but a dramatic lack of deepness, only messages that we can share bot does not contribute to the quality of the film. Very dissapointed indeed
shareI can't speak for Selma yet but The Butler was a tremendous disappointment. The leads did as good a job as could be asked but expecting to cover thirty years and do any kind of justice to the subject matter was foolhardy. Its problems are much greater than the historical inaccuracies that draw most of the objections. I can hardly believe this is from the sane director as Precious.
