I liked it, but season 2 will probably blow. Martin Donovan as Virgil Davenport was great. I enjoyed the build-up in creepiness and suspense as they uncovered the mystery. The CGI dimensional gate and demon looked lame. The other dimension was just a boring version of ours?
It could have been great with a horrible ending for the protagonist(s).
Yes Dan needs to be recovered and Samuel and Virgil still have to be dealt with. But without the mystery this series will likely fizzle.
