Here is the alternate ending. You are not missing anything

Just the brief summary at the ending of the movie is different in the German release as follows below.

After posting these statements online, police found more incriminating evidence in Bill Williamson's house.

He was arrested and sentenced to death.

And of course in other versions it reads

Bill Williamson disappeared that same evening.

2 years later these statements were posted online.

What a disappointment. I thought we were actually going to see him get arrested. The proof is below

glad I have not seen this version but thanks for explaining the ending. I was thinking the same thing there should have been an actual scene of Bill being arrested

I liked that too. it is more realistic that the "bad guy" won. what i mean in my previous post is if Bill has to lose the end should have showen his arrest

Why would you want him arrested?? He committed the perfect crime, doesn't he deserve to get away? Plus there is a sequel coming out, so he had to get away.

It's not that I wanted his character arrested. We could have gotten an extra deleted scene instead of words. That's what I was expecting. Of course he deserved to get away.

Oh, OK. Well a few things could have happened. Could be that they just didn't think of it, or maybe they ran out of money, or even more likely (and this happens more than you think even on big productions) they filmed an ending and either it got messed up and didn't have money to do it again or it they did it and the test screening showed it didn't work and they deleted it.

My guess being Uwe Boll is that he was just saving money and being cheap. The man can certainly make a dollar stretch to its limits, lol.

And yes. I don't care what people say. If you are a bad ass an can actually do the impossible and getaway with something like this, then so be it. I don't agree with mass murder, but the way I see it, its all fate and there was nothing you can do. When its your time to go, how ever that is, its your time.
