Good movie...couple plot holes...*Spoilers*

When I saw this movie description I was interested....but then I saw the director and put it aside for awhile. I got bored today and decided to just watch it, and I'm glad I did. It was a pretty good film all things considered with the director.


But I did find some big plot holes. Maybe I'm wrong on these and missed something, but they seem like pretty big mistakes.

1. The van. No matter how big the explosion was, they're going to be able to identify the make and model. Bill was seen working on the van at his work by his boss and probably others. They're going to know it was his. Although maybe you could write this off as Evan stealing it....

2. Cell phone records. They'll be able to see that Evan called bill multiple times right before his death. That will make Bill a person of interest. Accompany that with Evan's dad yelling that it was Bill, and it's getting very hard to ignore the evidence.



Or do these even matter. Since he disappears at the end does he just assume he'll be caught eventually and only framed Evan to give him time to leave? Although it does say the tape is uploaded 2 years afterwords, so I assume he hadn't been caught or even suspected until then..
