Couple of things that don't make sense (contains spoilers)

In the last episode of Season 2 (Under the Radar) and in the first episode of Season 3 (On Guard), we see that Neal and Mozzie fake the destruction of all the loot that was found in the U-Boat.

1. Everyone thinks that the explosion burnt and destroyed all the priceless paintings, but what about the jewelry and gold and all other precious ornaments? Surely Burke and the FBI didn't believe that they all too just burnt away without a trace?

2. After Burke find a piece of Neal's painting of the Chrysler building, he suspects something fishy and has it sent to get examined. Of course Neal manages to manipulate the results so it does seem genuine. My question is, why would there be a painting of the Chrysler building in the Nazi loot that consisted of masterpieces from 19th Century European artists? Burke can't be THAT art-illiterate, can he?

In the sixth episode of Season 3 (Scott Free), why would ANYONE keep an expensive motorcycle on display to the public with its keys in the ignition and its fuel tank filled? And that too when the FBI suspected that it was going to be stolen.
