What's the ceiling of a helicopter

I know nothing about them, but that helicopter was pretty high up when getting to that blimp. I didn't know they could do that.

-A couple of hackers manage to steal what would probably be one of the most secures devices known to man. Sure. Whatever.
-Gadot looks like she weighs 80lbs. (Yuck) But she is superfine.
-Another half-interesting story about a secret organization that no one knows about.

And it looks like they wanna make more. (ugh)

Gadot desperately needs a new franchise!

Helicopters manage to stay up to 93 million miles from the surface.

The official altitude record for a helicopter flight is 12,954 m (42,500 ft) set by Fred North with Eurocopter AS350 in 2002.

So it is possible.

reply

Thanks. I didn't know that was possible.

Chopper can fly high but I think you have to have a pressurized cabin at some point just like in a plane.

That is mainly for commercial passenger aircraft, for comfort mostly, and some airtight containers in luggage could explode.

For private aircraft only oxygen masks are required for crew.

How high is the average helicopter ceiling?
around 12,000 to 15,000 feet
The average altitude for a helicopter to fly at ranges around 12,000 to 15,000 feet.

reply

Most of the helicopters have a designed service ceiling of 6000 meters or around 20,000 feet.

Flying any higher is quite risky, engine could give up due to low air pressure and oxygen levels.
