Snipes carries the whole show
I just can't take Kevin Hart seriously in a role like this. He's passable - but nothing compared to Snipes and Zane's contribution. I know he's trying to spread his wings and enter into that dramatic Jim Carrey and Robin Williams world - but he doesn't even have a 1/16th of their acting chops.
Snipes is the only thing that sells the whole plot. And I hate to say it - Harts' physical stature is just too distracting. He's built to make people laugh - not to be a tough guy.
