Jessica Biel has focused on being taken seriously, thus her earthy roles instead of jiggly bubble butt goddess type roles.

It's a shame she never played a comic-book character. She's got the perfect look for that type of character. Unlike a lot of actors who've appeared in CBMs, she looks like she's jumped straight out of a Marvel or DC comic.

Personally, I would have cast her ahead of Anne Hathaway as Catwoman in The Dark Knight (apparently she was a contender for that role), but Nolan's thing was more about casting *serious* and physically nondescript actors over people who actually look and exude comic-book characters.

Firstly, that's very sexist of you.

Secondly, Hollywood is ageist, particularly to women, so, once they hit a certain age, they're no longer regarded as sex symbols (although I still regard Biel as very attractive).

Thirdly, despite my distaste for the way you expressed yourself, I do agree with the *overall* contention. It's a shame when beautiful women feel compelled to play homely or ugly characters, but that's often how they get taken seriously. Charlize Theron only won an Oscar by uglifying herself and playing a real-life serial killer.
