Is it my imagination, or is Wyatt dressed a lot like Charles Robinson's character?

A vague, distant memory in the recesses of my mind remembers that he wore flannel shirts a lot, no? Looks like that's what the current team is looking for in Wyatt's presence.

I'm honestly not insulted by this. I don't think they're trying to replace good ole' Mac... I think with his essential re-cast, they're just saying people like him always seem to find their way to workin' at Night Court... You know? That's how I see it. :-)

It's not your imagination. Even though I like the show, it does seem as if they are trying to recapture the old magic.
Even the woman bailiff seems to be trying to recreate Roz.

Roz, I think is a bit of a trickier situation... I get where you're coming from, but I actually think they did the opposite with Roz and Gurgs... Roz was very anti-social. She didn't like attention and she was always grumpy... Gurgs clearly loves to be in the spotlight, as she's constantly trying to get people's attention. She's very loud and goofy, much like Bull, but also as a black, heavyset woman who can be kinda bi-polar mood wise, she invokes a lot of similarities with Roz too. In all honesty, I think what they did with Gurgs is combine the personalities of Roz and Bull. If you think about it, it actually makes a lot of sense. Neither one of them is like Bull Shannon, but when you put the two characters together, they actually do have a lot of similarities, IMHO... :-)
