Tracy Morgan is Not Funny

Tracy Morgan is not funny. He was never funny. He is a hack. He is one of the worst comic actors of this day and age. He is talentless and he sucks. Tracy Morgan is a stupid, highly overrated, completely inept, unfunny person who represents the lowest common denominator of society. Even on SNL, he was not funny.

Then there's Kevin Smith, who is usually able to create a smart, funny, even brilliant film. He has written and directed Clerks, Chasing Amy, Dogma, and Zack & Miri Make A Porno, all of which were superb. I understand that all great directors make bad movies, so because he has earned it, I can give him a pass. Meanwhile, Bruce Willis looks positively embarrassed in this movie. Just look at his expression on the cover for God's sake. I'll be damned if those eyes aren't screaming "I swear, I thought it would be better!" Cop Out is easily the worst film of Smith's career. If Mallrats and Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back had a baby, this movie would be what ended up in that baby's diaper.

Back to Morgan, who is not funny. I simply do not understand why smart people like Lorne Micheals and Tina Fey keep throwing money at Morgan unless they have seriously underestimated the intelligence of the American people. I realize many a cynical poster will gush over the opportunity to point out how Americans are all idiots, but that's bull. It's a small-minded cliché sold to the public by the media moguls who control nearly everything you get to see and read and want nothing more than for we the consumers to feel weak and helpless. Perhaps their goal is to use Tracy Morgan (who is not funny), to help lower the IQ of the country by another point or two, which would really help their ratings.

The truth is this: Bill Burr, Jim Gaffigan, Russell Brand, Demetri Martin, Brian Posehn, Dan Cummins, Kevin Hart, Louis C.K., Todd Barry, Maria Bamford, The Sklar Brothers, Paul F. Tomkins, Jeff Dunham, The Amazing Johnathan, Mike Birbiglia, Frank Caliendo, Marc Maron, Dave Chappelle, Pablo Francisco, Jon Stewart, and Bill Maher are funny. On SNL, Dan Aykroyd, Eddie Murphy, Bill Murray, Jane Curtain, Adam Sandler, Phil Hartman, Dana Carvey, Al Franken, Will Farrell, Darrell Hammond, Jimmy Fallon, Mike Myers, Amy Poehler, and Tina Fey were funny. Tracy Morgan was not and is not funny.

Feel free to argue if you want. This is just one man's opinion, but it's something I believe quite strongly. Just because someone finds a way to make a name for himself in a given field does not automatically mean they have talent. Why, just look at Tracy Morgan. He's not even funny.

Haha, funny.....yawn.

I thought he was funny for this role, kinda stupid, innocent, he was perfect here and played well off of Willis.

He was horrible in this and I have no respect for tracy morgan whatsoever.
He was rarely ever funny and the scenes where he should've been a bit serious, nope hes still trying to be funny (because when you think your girlfriend is cheating on you....its STILL the time to try and be hilarious)
Screw tracy morgan, but I don't want him to die, because then the media will pretend he was some great comedian...which he isn't, plus I never wish harm on anyone.

Destroy this city of delusion

Tracy Morgan was hilarious as usual :)

Tracy can be funny when he's reined in. Not when he's all manic and over acting like in this movie.

Can't stop the signal.
