The movie just doesn't work

Willis and Morgan were miscast. They had no chemistry and weren't right at all. I think Tracy Morgan is a funny guy, but like most funny comics, he's a horrible actor. 30 Rock is written specificly for his strength and weaknesses. He's not supposed to be a good actor on 30 Rock. But putting him in the real world, where Cop Out is set, he just comes off like a crazy person. Guillermo Diaz is playing the same role he played in Weeds. His character wasn't intimidating our interesting. So you had a buddy cop movie where the buddies didn't work well and you had a lame villain. The plot wasn't that strong, but if you would've had a good villain and two cops who could play off of each other, it would've made people overlook the weak plot. There was too much improv. I'd bet most of Tacy's stuff was improvised. I just think Kevin was screwed from the beginning. There was no way to make this movie good. I actually think it's better than The Other Guys, but both movies have the same problems.
