I'm from Massachusetts and I understand how the Boston accent derived from the English and French Canadian accents. There are even different types of Boston accents but they are all over the place in this.
Sometimes I wish the actor would just use their real voice and not even attempt it.
My god it's abysmal!!! Incredibly distracting. Most the time it's not even discernible what they're attempting. Worst accent acting I've heard in a while!

shareI cringe every time Hemsworth opens his yapper. He didn't even try to do an accent in this. I mean he's definitely trying sometimes. It sounds like what happened is: He tried the Boston accent while they were shooting. But then when the looped all the ADR, he as just using his normal voice.
