How much do you want to bet they planned this whole clown thing to get publicity? they are now number 20 on imdb and will probably smash it in box offices.....it's the perfect stunt....it's brought back everyones fear of clowns

I know ..... I can't believe people keep bringing this up. I'm a huge fan of the book and excited for the film. My friend always ask " is the clown thing a way to advertise for the movie IT" and I say " NO YOURE A *beep* IDIOT "
shareExactly... Not to mention, though the clown stunts are happening more common now, they were happening long before the movie even went into production. There's tons of killer clown-prank videos on youtube that started years back. If anything I'd say it has less to do with IT and more about people just trying to bank off of that stuff.
