Are the losers going to watch Ghostbusters II in this adaptation?
This takes place in 1989 and GB2 came out that very same year. In the book and 1990 film, it was I Was A Teenage Werewolf, which came out in 1957; that part of the book takes place a year later in 1958, and the TV movie takes place 2 years later, setting it in 1960, showing a movie that's been out for 2-3 years but there was no home video back in the 50s and 60s, right? So second hand theaters existed, right?
