I don't mean like a first person survival horror game but kind of like a Alan Wake styled game. Could it be Free roam? What would the gameplay be like? I know Tell Tales game is a popular choice but i would love to walk around IT's Maine with modern graphics and not only that but easter eggs such as documents, newspaper clips or audio tapes of the history of its own universe. But could it work? What's your opinion?

I could see it as one of those Telltale games like The Walking Dead.

I've got an idea for one of the quests/missions - The credits come up: "YOUR MAIN OBJECTIVE IS TO COLLECT A TERRIFYING STANLY URIS ONTO SILVER, AND RIDE THE HELL OUT OF BASSEY PARK - BEFORE PENNYWISE CATCHES!" Then (allot like the park with Stanley running from the house with the mummy in the M-S.), spotting a horrified Stanley, getting him on the back of Silver: "Ok! Ok Stanley jump on! Hi yo Silver, away! Now having to ride out of the maze of shrubs and trees of Bassey, but get to close to a certain shrub or get to a dead end (presumably at a tall fence cut-off), Pennywise would jump out, say something like: "Dead end Kids!" smacking both of you off Silver and proceed to tear both of you apart. However, get to a main populated street, you'll be safe. Now, time for dialog: J-J-Jesus Stanley what the *beep* happened back there in Bassey? - Bill said. Stanely would burst into tears. They both hug. Next mission: RIDE STANELY HOME ON SILVER - AND CONSOLE HIM ALONG THE WAY. Something like that would kick other RPG's asses!

dunno, like it'd start in front of the dark Tower and you have to climb it and clear all the levels - each going into a different world/novel. there would be a Derry stage with Pennywise, a captain tripps ridden apocalyptic world with Flagg, Desperation, Ludlow, Castle Rock, Overlook Hotel, Salem's Lot...etc. the main idea could be finding some object related to those stories and going back into the tower once you have it. At the top of the tower there will be the Crimson King. it could work like a telltale game.
King would write the story and it would go into the origin of his monsters - since I doubt he is going to use the likes of Tak, It or Barlow ever again in a novel.
Well, there is the fan-made RPG system, using BRP Rules.
