Just a note in defense of this girl. Just started watching '37', made earlier this year, and she's definitely a talented kid. She plays a girl who's outcast from everyone in the neighbourhood after her Mom killed herself (I think). There's even a scene where she stands up for herself and her Mom after some local girls make fun of her for trying to invite them to her birthday party. Pretty heartbreaking. Reminded me of the Bev / Grtetta exchange from the novel.

That's a really nice comment to read. I can't wait to see her in action as Bev, I think she'll do great in the role. It's nice to read something about her acting ability rather than the length of her hair.

I recently saw 37 as well, and definitely saw Bev in her performance! I think all of the losers club was cast very well and can't wait to see it.
