Posted to her Instagram had a photo titled Georgie's Phantom. So does Georgie not die in the sewers in the beginning of the film ?
Sounds to me like the scene from the miniseries where Pennywise is taunting and playing tricks on Bill in the sewer
shareWell, a phantom is a ghost so it would still mean that he's dead. It could be a hallucination or a replacement for the picture book scene and George could slowly turn into Pennywise perhaps

It was such a sweet photograph...as the director appears to comfort / so protective of the little actor! 😊

Haha yeah, all the cast and crew seemed to take tons of pictures with him, I recall one where Jackson was even riding the shoulders of Nicholas Hamilton. It's good to know they looked after the little guy, considering the horrors the character is going to go through!

I love trolls, they taste like chicken.
I'm guessing from what little I can make out of the still, that this will be the Georgie in the closet scene (alluded to in Beverlys encounter with IT) . Just before the blood balloon pops in Bev's sink: "Tell Bill that Georgie says hello, tell Bill that Georgie misses him but he'll see him soon, tell him Georgie will be in the closet some night with a piece of piano wire to stick in his eye - tell him" . Was really creepy in the book, but I don't recall if he does in fact visit Bill.
