Very promising indeed. This confirms, among other things, that Sonia Kaspbrak and Eddie's "bad break" are in. Also the apocalyptic rock fight.

I have read the book two times and I love it but the end is kind of sad to me it sucks how everyone forgets about each other and fogets everything anyone else think so?

Yeah. It is worse in the book than in the mini-series. They still forget, but in the mini-series, Mike can still read his journal entries and slightly recall the events that happened. In the book, all records(even Mike's journal entries) disappear(his journal becomes blank pages).

This is all good, but we don't know what will make it into the final cut. It is nice to see all these scenes hinting at what we might expect, but all final cuts of movies tend to also leave unused footage on the cutting room floor. We'll see when the movie comes out.
