Pennywise on Stitls +a More...

In *beep* version of It, I read from someone on Reddit that the Paul Bunyan scene from the book was replaced by Pennywise on huge stilts which wasn't as scary.
Also for some reason in that version Fukunaga had Ben hitting Pennywise repeatedly with a frying pan. This may be kept in the film, the leaked image of Pennywise in the sewers shows him with his mouth open as if screaming in pain, maybe Ben hit him with a frying pan or something hard he found in the sewers.
Also- Would the Adult losers in the sequel ( if it's made) meet up with their younger selves in the sewers to defeat It the final time ?
What do you guys think ?

reply

These things are not from the Fukunaga version of the script, but from the one penned by David Kajganich in 2009/2010. Fukunaga threw it out when he came on board and started from scratch.

Ben hitting Pennywise with a frying pen happens in Mrs Kersh's house when they're adults.

reply

That's the guy ! Couldn't remember his name.
Did Ben do that in Kersh's home in the novel ?

reply

No, everyone went on their own walking tour in the book. Ben was put into Bev's adult encounter with It, because the script needed to cram the kids' and the adults' stories in just 2 hours.

reply

I think it'd be super convenient if Ben found a frying pan in the sewer to knock out Pennywise with.

W-what...? Is this It or Scary Movie 6? Dear God that draft was awful

Why do you say "in *beep* version of It"? What do you mean?

reply

The *beep* is unintentional, they're referring to the previous director, Cary Fùkunaga. But for some reason, who knows why, IMDb sees Cary's last name as a cuss-word. So when people are talking about "in Fùkunaga's version of IT" that's all they mean. They just didn't put an accent (ù) in the name so that it wouldn't get censored.

No problem!

I think it's because the *beep* is why it censors
