WTF New trailer- trying for comedy after all!

I thought the first trailer was kind of a murder thing?

The new trailer is a lame attempt at what we had before, only with annoying new characters and without the beloved ones?

I hope not. It's almost impossible to top the original.

I fear you are correct though.

Thanks for pointing this out, I didn't think it would out so soon.

Pretty disappointed with the full trailer. This is indeed Frasier 2.0. A revival like some other classic sitcoms have done of late. Same structure, same jokes, new characters. This show already got a little too long in the tooth in the later seasons of its first run. The ideas they were kicking around years ago when Kelsey first started talking about the project sounded pretty fresh. He didn't want to do a rehash. He wanted a third arc for Frasier that was something completely different. Maybe he couldn't get those ideas greenlit. There was a few red flags for me that popped up. The show returning to Boston instead of moving forward to Chicago was a big one. Then you had Pierce refusing to be involved. He must have seen it was going to be the exact same thing. Anyhow, i'll happily watch it and grumble about it here.

Same. The trailer is underwhelming; I have little to no hope that this will come close to recapturing the magic. But I’ll be watching, no question there.

Well, I've watched the first two and, despite my reservations, it's much better than I expected.

It's still settling in and painting the scene after a jarring first 10mins, but it's not as unfunny as I expected, and actually engrossed me. All credit to the writers and kelsey.

I do miss the original characters like crazy, though. It needed them to bed the new show in initially.
