Would've loved to have gotten a King Of the Hill cameo

When they're traveling across Texas i was dying to see Arlen on the map or see them go through it and see Hank mowing his lawn and they go by him.

I also would've liked to have seen them bump someone they knew in their 40s now like Stewart or Dario or someone.

Yeah that seemed like a missed opportunity, but i'm sure we'll see other characters older in the new tv show since its supposed to take place after Do The Universe. So i assume the new series will still have them in the future.

Maybe I'm imagining this, but check out the scene sometime after 48 minutes, when old Serena and that aide of hers find the police car that Beavis and Butt-Head wrecked earlier. There's a fat guy in red shorts and black T-shirt, with pale skin standing in the crowd, who kinda closely looks like what a grown up Bobby Hill would look like in his 20's. I think this is the closest they could get to a King of the Hill-cameo, because sadly, there are rights issues involved. Beavis and Butt-Head are with Music TV, whereas King of the Hill is owned by Fox, and by extension Disney now. It would've been a great opportunity for sure, but I guess they just couldn't be bothered with the legal hassle.

Oh yeah i remember thinking that resembled Bobby grown up when i saw it. Yeah i forgot about King Of The Hill being a Fox/Disney thing now but i figured since Mike Judge was the creator of both it could be done.

Hank Hill doesn't exist in Beavis and Butt-head's world. His B&B equivalent is "Mr. Anderson", who looks and sounds just like an older Hank Hill.

On that note, this film DID show us a multiverse with different incarnations of Beavis & Butt-head meeting themselves, so perhaps Mr. Anderson COULD be introduced his alter ego from "Arlen, Texas", Hank Hill...

b&b are already from texas in the original show. i was really hoping to see a cameo from tom anderson, the proto-hank hill with the same voice.

reply

Yeah i know, but they've never traveled across Texas before like they did in this.

reply

Yep, and I rewatched the first film, and Mr. Anderson had a pretty big role in that one, including being the unfortunate scapegoat who gets blamed in the end for all of B&B's antics.
