Good production. The sets, costumes, and locations were good. The story moves well and the actors were a nice ensemble.

Thanks for this quick review. I saw the preview and come from an Italian family so I was interested in the historical aspect. Always appreciate when someone takes the time to say if a movie is worth the viewing investment

This movie was really good. My mom had already seen it but she wanted to see it again, so I went with her. If you like period pieces, its setting is reminiscent of Gangs of New York. I never found it slow, it was always going somewhere, and the leading actress really carried the movie very nicely. John Lithgow is good as always.
