Has there been a prettier young actor in Hollywood since...

Montgomery Clift and James Dean, both of whom left us prematurely? Not only does Zac Efron have an adorable face and smile, but his freaking eyes are as blue as Elizabeth Taylor's were violet. And in this particular film, (in which he is in practically every scene), he shows some amazing acting chops for an actor whom many dismiss as being just another "teen idol." Watching his performance in this WONDERFUL story, he shows himself close to being on par with the two incredible actors to whose looks I've compared his. I knew he could sing and dance, but had no clue he could convey such range of emotion in front of the camera. Bravo, Zac! Well done. Keep up the good work, and don't let the Hollywood and tabloid hype ruin your life and career as it has done to so many young stars.

I think he would have been a fantastic Spider-Man. Though I have high hopes for Tom Holland.

Watched this film years ago. Zac was not a capable actor and he is simply too good looking to take seriously.

Zac Efron is probably one of the best looking men ever but he never had the talent to really earn his place in Hollywood. His female equivalent was of course Megan Fox who was also supposed to be a "big star" around this time. But the same problem. Both of them now are adults in Hollywood with mediocre careers.

You can have all the looks but that won't buy your talent on onscreen presence.

I don't understand why Zac keeps acting it's not like he is good at it.
