Im sure some people didnt like it but it was funny to me.

Not even in the top 5 of Halloween episodes, and that's usually loaded with humor.
This one felt contrived and forced.
Too bad, too. The last two episodes were getting back to being funny again, but apparently the formula was tainted.

Their best Halloween episodes are long behind them like the one from season 2 when they all participate in the haunted house skit as well as the one where Phil shows a house on Halloween night and Claire tries to scare him.

Rather than the storyline being great as past Halloween episodes have been, it was the daft one liners that were good.
Some of the puns were great and Jay laughing at "he might get the picture next time" was hilarious.
