All of that buildup just so they could date for a couple of episodes. Kind of a let down.
shareAgreed. They shouldn't have pursued that storyline without an actor who could commit to portraying a near-regular character. It's a bit like Chris Messina on The Mindy Project.

The show fell of the rails last year. They need to ax "Alex, Luke, & Manny" and bring in new kids. Alex isn't funny and the 2 boys can't act.

shareI really think all parties were surprised by the sudden ascension of Adam's success. He always had several irons in the fire, so to speak, but he took off so quickly that his character had to be removed.
Can't blame the kid; if your star is rising, you'd better jump on and hang tight. It may not last long so take advantage of every opportunity. A small, recurring part isn't something that should even be entertained when the caliber of work he's been offered in the last year is knocking.
I'm glad he's gone. Haley storylines always bore me.
