Cam's speech about Dwight

That could really come back to bite him in the butt. I'm pretty sure it's a violation of the rules to have a player live with a non-family member for the sole purpose of playing football at a particular school. Of course, Cam goes and gets on a microphone and makes a public announcement about it. This could lead to a lot of trouble.

Then again, never mind. That would require the show's writers to think. Everything will be fine.

I'm not sure about everywhere, but in Texas it is not a violation of athletic or academic rules as long as the player didn't move in with the coach before the season or for the purpose of coming to the school for athletics. Since it was a special purpose, within the school year and the middle of the football season, he would be allowed to stay with the coach until the end of the school year.

He would have to complete the school year and not leave right after football season, or it could be investigated for athletic purposes. It could be initially investigated, especially with Cam making it so public, but as long as his parents signed off and notified the correct administration of the district, it would be allowed.
